Health of Mithun Chakraborty: According to a report, the veteran actor is receiving care at Apollo Hospital in Kolkata after complaining of chest pain.
Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty reportedly complained of chest pain on Saturday morning, leading to his admission to a hospital in Kolkata. According to insiders close to the actor, he was feeling uneasy, so he was taken to the hospital and is currently receiving treatment.
Mithun Chakraborty has had an incredible career in the film industry since his debut in 1976, winning numerous prestigious awards, including the National Award. His noteworthy motion pictures include “Jung,” “Disco Dancer,” “Pyar Jhukta Nahin,” “Prem Pratigyaa,” and “Mard.”
Mithun was recently recognized as one of the Padma Bhushan Award 2024 recipients. Through his son Namashi, he expressed his happiness and gratitude on social media, writing, “After much hardship, receiving such a great honor feels indescribable.” I dedicate this award to all of my admirers, both domestically and abroad, who have generously shown me love and support.”

Apart from his recent accolades, Mithun Chakraborty also experienced personal setbacks. After battling geriatric issues, his mother, Santirani Chakraborty, passed away in Mumbai in July 2023. His father, 95-year-old Basantokumar Chakraborty, passed away from kidney failure in April 2020.
