“Champions of Change Maharashtra” felicitation ceremony organized by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy was held at Grand Hyatt Hotel, Mumbai. Everyone was honored by Justice KG Balakrishnan, former Chief Justice of India and former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission. Gyan Sudha Mishra, Vice Chairman of the Award Selection Committee and former Supreme Court Judge, Advocate Shri Nandan Jha, President of the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy and Shri Shyam Jaju (former National Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party) were present as advisor to the Award Selection Committee.

Former Chief Justice of India Justice KG Balakrishnan, chief guest and chairman of the selection committee at the Champions of Change Maharashtra felicitation ceremony, said that every possible effort should be made to encourage generosity in the society. He described the felicitation ceremony as an inspiration for good works in the society. He said that I have got the opportunity to honor these great personalities. He praised the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy and its Chairman & Founder Advocate Nandan Jha and said that they are doing good work by honoring those doing good work in the society. He congratulated all the honorees and said that they will continue to do good work in the society.

The list of “Champions of Change Maharashtra” award winners includes Shri Ram Naik (19th Governor of Uttar Pradesh and former Union Minister, Government of India), General Manoj Mukund Naravane (former Army Chief, India), Shri Gauri Sawant (transgender, social activist). , Padma Bhushan Shri Sunil Gavaskar (Indian Cricket Commentator, Former Player), Padma Shri Manoj Bajpayee (Indian Film Actor), Smt. Shilpa Shetty (Indian Film Actress), Smt. Farah Khan (Dance and Film Director), Shri Sonu Sood (Indian Film Actor), Mr. Arjun Rampal (Indian Film Actor), in the field of social welfare Ankit Gupta, Aditya Nair, Harsh Girish Patel, Ranjit Bindra, Mahesh Reddy, Ankit Sharma, Umesh Kumar Sharma, in the field of health Dr. Sanjay Manjalkar, Dr. Ravi Shinde, Dr. Alok Sharma, Preeti Reddy in the field of education, and Hetavi Shah in the field of sports, among others.

Former Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane said that I humbly accept this honor on behalf of the entire Indian Army and in the name of the willpower of all the soldiers and officers.

After receiving the honour, Manoj Bajpayee said that if something changed in the journey of our life even if we did not want to, it changed for the good and changed unknowingly, I give all the credit for this to our parents, guru and destiny.

Whereas Shilpa Shetty said that change is the rule of the world. I don’t compare myself with anyone but improve myself.

After receiving the award, Sonu Sood said that the world of cinema is very small, I saw the real world during the time of Corona. Apart from this, while narrating an incident related to his mother, he said that mother used to say that Sonu, once you open your fist, you will see that it is written in the lines of your hand to save someone’s life. He also narrated an incident related to the Covid period. He said that mother used to say that keep filling the pen of your life with the ink of people’s prayers, you will automatically sit on the eyelids of the people.

Advocate Nandan Jha, Chairman & Founder of Interactive Forum on Indian Economy and Founder of Champions of Change Award, said that Champions of Change has been started with the inspiration of Maharashtra Veer Chhatrapati Shivaji. Along with this, while explaining about the selection process, he said that the award recipients have been selected by a constitutional jury, which is headed by former Chief Justice of India and former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Justice KG Balakrishnan and the Vice-Chairman is former Supreme Court judge. Justice Gyan Sudha Mishra.

“Champions of Change Awards” is organized by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy (IFIE) (a non-profit organization certified by the Government of India, registered 80G, 12A, 8A). The award is a state edition of the Champions of Change national awards event which aims to recognize the great work done by individuals and organizations towards promoting the values of courage, community service and inclusive social development. . This award is given in the following categories: To those doing constructive work in optimistic districts, in the departments of education, health, technology and science, in rural areas, for the development and welfare of women and children and for outstanding contribution in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The heroes who have done exceptional work during the Covid-19 pandemic are honoured.

The Champions of Change Award has so far witnessed the arrival of many distinguished guests such as Honorable Vice President of India Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Honorable former President of India Ramnath Kovind, Honorable former President of India and Bharat Ratna Late Shri Pranab Mukherjee and Goa, Maharashtra. , Honorable Governor and Chief Minister of Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Haryana.
