Actor Rohit Basfore, recognized for his performance in the hit series Family Man 3, was discovered deceased near a waterfall in Assam’s Garbhanga forest on Sunday evening.
Rohit had returned to Guwahati a few months ago
According to Odisha Bytes, Basfore came back to Guwahati from Mumbai a few months ago. His family stated that he went out for a day trip with friends on Sunday afternoon at approximately 12:30 pm. Nevertheless, worries emerged once the family members were unable to reach him that evening.
Several hours later, a friend notified the family about an incident. As Rohit was taken to a hospital, he was pronounced dead.
Rohit’s family alleges murder
Currently, Rohit’s family has alleged murder. The actor was recently engaged in a parking conflict, where three people – Ranjit Basfore, Ashok Basfore, and Dharam Basfore – allegedly threatened his life. The actor’s family has also mentioned a gym owner named Amardeep, who allegedly invited Basfore to the event.
As further investigation is currently in progress, authorities have verified that the actor bore multiple injury marks on his body. “An autopsy took place at Guwahati Medical College Hospital on Monday. Several injuries were found on the body, including wounds on the head, face, and various other areas. We are looking into the matter, but the four suspects are fleeing,” an official stated. Additional inquiry is in progress.
