Sikandar contributes nothing for the enthusiasts of classic Hindi cinema. It does not succeed in catering to the passionate fan base of Salman Khan – those who, throughout the years, have established him as one of the most esteemed stars in the nation. These are the individuals who annually invest their hard-earned cash, particularly during the Eid celebrations, to cheer and whistle for him, honoring his immense screen presence.

But this time it has been a disappointing cinema experience for the enthusiasts as the movie has failed miserably at the BO.

Salman Khan as a superstar has been widely popular all over the world for his out and out entertainment movies over the years. He has been outspoken about the kind of movies he loves to work in.

As a megastar, Salman is truly loved and sometimes worshipped despite having a bad boy image. Though this has worked in favour of the Dabang star.

The actor has consistently asserted that his movies target a specific group of viewers – those who are willing to overlook extravagant filmmaking as long as it provides entertainment. Nevertheless, with ‘Sikandar’, that boundary seems to have been surpassed. The audience’s fundamental expectations have been shattered – wholesome entertainment and a complete array of action, drama, romance, and emotions that no one else can provide quite like Salman Khan.

‘Sikandar’ represents the definitive clash between Salman Khan and his viewers. The issue arises when the ‘Sikandar’ team assumes the audience will always be there, but a more significant issue occurs when Khan begins to take himself for granted. The whole ‘Sikandar’ crew disappointed Khan, and he also disappointed himself….

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
