On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi maintained his tradition of donning vibrant and eye-catching turbans during national events such as Independence Day and Republic Day. For the 76th Republic Day festivities, he opted for a vibrant red and yellow turban, bringing a burst of color to the occasion.

The Prime Minister wore his turban along with a white kurta-pyjama, complemented by a brown bandhgala jacket and a pocket square.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s attire was first disclosed when he reached the National War Memorial to honor those who gave their lives for the country.

After the tribute, he headed to Kartavya Path for the yearly Republic Day parade.

Prime Minister expressed his wishes to the nation on the occasion of Republic Day.

“Today we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of our glorious republic. On this occasion, we pay our tribute to all those great personalities who made our Constitution and ensured that our development journey is based on democracy, dignity and unity. It is our hope that this national celebration will preserve the values of our Constitution and further strengthen our efforts towards building a strong and prosperous India,” the Prime Minister posted on X.

Vibrant and eye-catching turbans have consistently been a staple of the prime minister’s appearances on Independence Day and Republic Day since he took office in 2014.

For the 2024 Republic Day celebration, the prime minister wore a ‘Bandhani’ turban that highlighted India’s diversity.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
