The Release date of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is drawing closer, and fans cannot keep calm. However, with just two days to go for the film’s release, it has now been reported that the 3D version of the film will not be released this week. The film was all set to be played in 2D, IMAX 2D, and 3D versions in different languages. However, as per reports, the 3D version of the film is not yet ready, and will thus release on next Friday, that is, on December 13. Meanwhile, the 2D version will arrive as scheduled on 5th December, 2024.
Bollywood Hungama quoted a source saying that the 3D version of Pushpa 2 isn’t ready yet, and this has caused the cancellation of the 3D version this week. “The 3D version is not yet ready. Hence, the makers of the film decided to forgo the release of the film in 3D this week. As a result, on December 5, the film will only be played in 2D versions across the country and the world in various languages,” informed the source. The makers have now decided to release the 3D version of Pushpa 2 next Friday, on December 13, as the 3D prints would be ready by then.

Bollywood Humgama also quoted a manager at a multiplex saying, “We were all set to play certain shows of Pushpa 2 – The Rule in 3D. But today we were told about the delayed 3D release. Now, we’ll play those shows in 2D.” The manager further added that the rates of 3D versions were slightly higher because of the 3D glass usage charges, and now, they will have to return this amount to the viewers as the 3D version stands cancelled for this week.
Pushpa 2, Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali and Malayalam languages.
