Actor-director Dhanush and director Aishwarya Rajinikanth have finalized their divorce. The couple was granted divorce by the Chennai family court on Wednesday, November 27. After being married for 18 years, they made the difficult decision to separate due to irreconcilable differences. They have two sons, Yatra and Linga.

At the beginning of this year, Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth officially initiated divorce proceedings following their separation announcement in January 2022. Despite missing the court hearing three times, Dhanush and Aishwarya finally showed up in Chennai court for the in-camera proceedings on November 21.

Family court judge Subhadevi inquired Dhanush and Aishwarya about their choice. After expressing their desire to separate, the judge stated that the final decision would be made on November 27.

Aishwarya and Dhanush tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Chennai in 2004. Their wedding was attended by the most influential figures in the film industry and politics. Aishwarya is Rajinikanth and Latha Rajinikanth’s daughter, while Dhanush is Kasthuri Raja and Vijayalakshmi’s son.

On January 17, 2022, Dhanush and Aishwarya released a statement together declaring their choice to part ways.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
