Authorities initiate homicide inquiry and detained five minors
An 80-year-old man of Indian descent, who was attacked while out walking his dog in eastern England, has passed away from the injuries he sustained. Authorities initiated a homicide inquiry and detained five underage individuals.
Bhim Kohli was attacked while taking a stroll with his dog in Franklin Park in Braunstone Town.
The incident took place close to the park’s entrance at approximately 6.30 pm on September 1st. Kohli, a resident of Leicester, passed away the following day at the hospital he was taken to.
A post-mortem examination showed his cause of death was a neck injury, with more tests still needed.

The group of minors taken into custody consists of a 14-year-old boy and girl, along with a 12-year-old boy and two 12-year-old girls.
The 14-year-old boy is being held by the police, while the other four children have been let go without any additional consequences.

Unfortunately, after the victim passed away last night, the investigation has shifted to a murder case. Detective Inspector Emma Matts, the Senior Investigating Officer, stated that officers are working quickly to uncover the attack’s details and have made several arrests to comprehend the situation.
