Anuradha Paudwal received the Lata Mangeshkar Award
On August 21 in Mumbai, veteran actress Asha Parekh received the prestigious Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award. Hattangadi was awarded the State Cultural Award. Anuradha Paudwal received the Lata Mangeshkar Award, while singer Sudesh Bhosle was honored for his musical contributions.
Both the 58th and 59th Maharashtra State Film Awards were presented by the Maharashtra State Government on August 21, marking the first time in history that they were given out simultaneously. The prestigious Maharashtra State Marathi Film Awards, highly valued in the Marathi film industry, are presented by the state government as a symbol of the 13 crore people of Maharashtra.

In addition to Parekh, Shivaji Satam, a seasoned actor famous for his role as ACP Pradyuman in the hit TV show C.I.D, was also recognized at the event. N Chandra was honored with The Late Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award for his significant contribution to Indian cinema.
The gathering took place at Dome SVP Stadium in Worli with the presence of top officials like Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar, Cultural Affairs Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, and Minister of Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Mangal Prabhat Lodha.
