Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia attacked the opposition today, insulting the INDIA bloc and claiming that individuals who sponsored the vote of no confidence did not support it.

Additionally, he responded to yesterday’s harsh abuse of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by Congressman Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi stated yesterday that Manipur is not considered to be a part of India by the Prime Minister. The Northeast is now connected to the rest of the globe thanks to this prime minister, who also has strong ties to the region. The former Congress politician believed to be close to Mr. Gandhi, Mr. Scindia, stated that “the ideology of seeing India divided is yours, not ours.”

“I have spent 20 years in Parliament, but I have never seen something like this. The man on country’s highest post, the Prime Minister who resides in the hearts of 140 crore Indians, the words used for him by the Opposition. I believe they will have to apologise before the people of the country, if not before Parliament,” he said in Lok Sabha during the debate on the no-confidence motion against Narendra Modi government.

“This no-confidence motion is not about Manipur, it is a pretext under which they are tying to bake their political cakes. The Prime Minister made a sensitive statement on the Manipur situation outside Parliament, but they are stubborn that he must speak inside the House,” the Civil Aviation Minister said.

He claimed that despite Home Minister Amit Shah’s repeated declarations that he was open to talks, the Opposition repeatedly interrupted Parliament’s business for 17 days.

Mr. Scindia questioned why Dr. Manmohan Singh and former Prime Ministers PV Narasimha Rao “took a vow of silence” during earlier instances of violence in Manipur in 1993 and 2011, respectively. What else is this than convenience politics and two-faced politics?

He made fun of RJD MP Manoj Kumar Jha by stating, “In I.N.D.I.A., there is a professor who preaches about morality and values, but his party established records in corruption. This is who they are, he said.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
