1 jawan die, 6 hurt in attack on Army post in Jammu’s Dodha
Two midnight encounters with terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir’s Kathua and Doda districts resulted in the death of a CRPF jawan and six injuries.
On Wednesday, militants opened fire on the Army’s Temporary Operating Base (TOB) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda area, injuring five troops and one special police officer. During the gunfight, a terrorist was also eliminated.
The injured were transferred to SDH Bhaderwah for treatment, an official informed India Today.
The Kashmir Tigers terror group has claimed responsibility for the ambush on security forces.

An encounter and search effort to catch the terrorists is currently underway.
Speaking about the terror incidents in Jammu and Kashmir, ADGP Anand Jain stated, “It is our unfriendly neighbor who always attempts to disrupt our country’s peaceful environment. The Hiranagar terror incident appears to represent a new incursion. One terrorist has been killed, while the search for the other is underway, according to news agency ANI.
Third terror attack in Jammu region in three days
Following Reasi and Kathua, this is the third terror incident in the Jammu region in the past three days.

This terrorist attack in Doda district came just hours after a terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces after terrorists opened fire on a home in Kathua district, Jammu & Kashmir.
According to Union Minister Jitendra Singh, the terrorists fired at a home in Kathua’s Saida Sukhal village, located in the Hiranagar sector, which is close to the International Border (IB).
On June 9, militants opened fire on a bus bringing pilgrims from a shrine in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi area, killing ten persons and wounding 33 others.
According to authorities, the terrorists were from the same group that targeted an Indian Air Force (IAF) convoy near Poonch on May 4.
