The legal cell of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has called for a protest against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 27 in all of the national capital’s district courts.
AAP’s Legal Cell Announces District Court Protests Against Kejriwal’s Arrest
The development was confirmed by advocate Sanjeev Nasiar, State President of the AAP’s Legal Cell, who also announced that attorneys will congregate in all district courts at approximately 12:30 PM to express disapproval of Kejriwal’s incarceration. In addition, Nasiar serves as the Delhi Bar Council’s vice-chairman.
“The way Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested shows there is a conspiracy against him. The lawyer community has, therefore, decided to hold a massive protest tomorrow at 12:30PM. We will gather in our courts and hold a protest. We stand with Arvind Kejriwal,” Nasiar said in a video message.

Complaint Filed Against AAP’s Legal Cell for Protests at Delhi Courts
The Aam Aadmi Party’s legal cell has called for protests at Delhi courts, and the acting chief justice of the Delhi High Court has received a complaint about this. The lawyer has sent a letter stating that it is grave misconduct for political parties to use court grounds as a battleground. The letter also violates the guidelines of the Indian Bar Council and the Supreme Court’s rulings.
