Dangeti Jahnavi from Palakollu in Andhra Pradesh’s West Godavari district is set to travel to space in 2029. A graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Jahnavi holds the distinction of being the first Indian to successfully complete NASA’s prestigious International Air and Space Program.
Jahnavi has been chosen to travel to the Titan’s Orbital Port Space Station, a US initiative set to open in the upcoming four years.
Jahnavi is recognized for her enthusiastic involvement in STEM education and space outreach activities. She has spoken for ISRO’s educational initiatives and engaged with students at top institutions like National Institutes of Technology (NITs) nationwide.
Jahnavi frequently participates in analog missions, deep-sea exploration, and international conferences focused on planetary science and sustainability in extended space travel.

Who is Dangeti Jahnavi?
Jahnavi Dangeti, a young girl hailing from Andhra Pradesh, has recently completed NASA’s International Air and Space Program (iasp nasa) at the Kennedy Space Centre in Alabama, US, becoming the first Indian to achieve this milestone.
The space enthusiast graduated from Lovely Professional University in Punjab, following her Intermediate education in her hometown of Palakollu. Her parents, Srinivas and Padmasri, are currently living in Kuwait for their jobs.
She has been a campus ambassador for numerous organisations, including Star (Space Technology and Aeronautical Rocketry), an Indian private aerospace company. She is a member of the International Organization of Aspiring Astronauts (IOAA).
Her efforts in the International Astronomical Search Collaboration resulted in a tentative asteroid finding, utilizing information from the Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System (Pan-STARRS). She was the youngest foreign analog astronaut and the first Indian selected for Space Iceland’s geology training.
The mission will be directed by retired Colonel and experienced astronaut from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). William Mc. Arthur Jr., the Chief Astronaut for the Titans Space Mission.
