Vicky Kaushal is ready to join Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar as hosts for the much-anticipated 24th Edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA). Announcing the big news on Instagram, the actor wrote, “Come and experience an epic event and take back some unforgettable memories. Watch me host and perform this year at the #IIFAAwards2024 !!!”

Vicky expressed his enthusiasm for co-hosting and performing at the 24th IIFA Festival, stating that IIFA has been a significant part of his career, a wonderful tribute to film achievements, and a meeting of top talent and innovators in Indian cinema. Whenever I am on the IIFA stage, it feels like pure magic.
Shah Rukh excited about hosting the event
Shah Rukh expressed his views on hosting the 24th edition of the IIFA Festival in a statement released by the IIFA team, mentioning that being involved in the journey of IIFA, which celebrates Indian cinema worldwide, has been incredible. “I am excited to revive the energy, passion, and grandeur of IIFA for a memorable celebration of Indian cinema in September,” he said.

The event is planned to take place from September 27 to 29 on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The festivities will kick off with IIFA Utsavam on September 27, a extravagant event honoring the four vibrant South Indian film industries. The IIFA Awards will take place on September 28 following this event. The IIFA Rocks event, exclusive and by invitation only, will mark the end of the festival on September 29.
