In an unexpected development, a few portions of the teaser of Prabhas’s horror-comedy The Raja Saab were leaked online days before the official release. The first glimpse of the much-awaited film is set to drop today, June 16, 2025. Following the reported leak, the makers issued a stern warning against sharing any unauthorised content before the teaser’s official launch.
In a statement on the film’s official X handle on Friday, they wrote, “Strict action will be taken and handles will be suspended immediately if any leaked content from #TheRajaSaab is found. We request everyone to cooperate and stand with us in protecting the experience. Let’s celebrate responsibly. Be aware.”
Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab is among the most anticipated releases of the year. It is scheduled to hit theatres on December 5, 2025. Keeping the excitement intact, the makers decided to unveil the teaser on June 16. On Sunday, they teased fans with a pre-teaser clip on the official X account of People Media Factory.
Along with the 25-second promo, the makers wrote, “A chill in the air… A blast on the way. Get ready to feel the Rebel Vibe tomorrow at 10:52 am #TheRajaSaabTeaser #TheRajaSaabOnDec5th.”

Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab will see Prabhas expanding his horizon as it marks his genre shift from action entertainers to horror comedy. In the film, which revolves around a haunted mansion, the actor will reportedly be seen in a dual role. He will share screen space with Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar.
The Raja Saab is set for a massive pan-India release in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
