One of the top Bollywood actresses of 90s, Karisma Kapoor has become a topic of discussion over the last few days primarily regarding her private life rather than her acting career, largely due to the passing of Karisma’s former husband Sunjay Kapur.
On June 13, the former entrepreneur passed away. For the first time since her ex-husband’s passing, Karisma Kapoor has posted something on social media.
Karisma expressed gratitude to her supporters in her initial social media update following the passing of her former spouse, entrepreneur Sunjay Kapur. “Thank you everyone for your warm wishes and support (sic),” the actress wrote on her Instagram story, a day after her 51st birthday.
On Wednesday, Kareena Kapoor Khan posted a throwback picture of her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, alongside her sister Karisma. The actor expressed support for Karisma in the message, stating that difficult times are temporary, but resilient individuals endure.

The 51-year-old and her kids were present at Sunjay’s funeral and prayer gathering in Delhi. Kareena and Saif were with her. Numerous photos and videos surfaced online from the ceremonies, featuring Karisma alongside Sunjay’s wife Priya Sachdev.
Karisma Kapoor wed Sunjay in 2003. Sunjay was an accomplished entrepreneur, and their wedding was a spectacular event in the movie industry. Initially, their relationship was harmonious, but eventually, conflicts emerged between Karishma and Sunjay, leading to their divorce after a decade.
