Tecno Unveils Pova 6 Pro 5G with Impressive Features in India
The Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G was introduced on Friday, March 29 in India. It was first revealed in February of this year at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. The phone has a 108-megapixel triple rear camera unit and is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC. According to the company, it is the first smartphone in India with a 6,000mAh battery that supports 70W wired fast charging. It will be available for purchase in the nation early next month and comes in two RAM configurations.
The 8GB + 256GB model of the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G costs Rs. 19,999 in India, while the 12GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 21,999. As part of a sale offer, customers can take advantage of an instant bank discount of Rs. 2,000 on all banks. As a result, the phone’s effective price for the 8GB and 12GB variants is Rs. 17,999 and Rs. 19,999, respectively. In addition, the company promises that any phone purchase comes with a complimentary Tecno S2 Speaker, valued at Rs. 4,999.

The Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G will go on sale in the nation on April 4 at 12 p.m. IST through Amazon and physical retail outlets. There are two color options for the phone: Comet Green and Meteorite Grey.
The 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display on the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G has a peak brightness level of 1,300 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and up to 12GB of RAM, which is essentially expandable to a total of 12GB. Most notably, an additional 8GB of RAM can be added to the original 8GB. HiOS 14, based on Android 14, is pre-installed on the device.
With regard to optics, the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G’s triple rear camera unit consists of a 108-megapixel primary sensor that offers up to 3x in-sensor zoom, a 2-megapixel portrait shooter, an unidentified AI-backed lens, and a dual LED flash unit. In contrast, the front camera features a 32-megapixel sensor along with a dual-tone LED flash unit.

Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G: Innovative Features and Connectivity Options
The Pova 6 Pro 5G from Tecno also comes with the Dynamic Port 2.0 feature. Around the hole punch cutout on the display, the feature displays notifications and other alerts, such as charging and call details. The phone also has an upgraded Arc Interface, which is positioned around the rear camera unit and has more than 200 LEDs and 100 customizable options. This feature allows users to customize how it lights up in response to various calls or notifications. Additionally, the phone has dual speakers that support Dolby Atmos.
With support for 70W wired fast charging, the 6,000mAh battery powering the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G is supported. Additionally, it has USB Type-C, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi, and 5G connectivity. The phone is dust and splash resistant when it is delivered, with an IP53 rating. It weighs 195g and has a thickness of 7.8mm.
