The group demanded ₹1 crore compensation for the family of Revathi, a 35-year-old woman who died during a stampede at Sandhya Theatre on December 4. The incident occurred during the premiere of Allu Arjun’s latest film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The stampede also left Revathi’s eight-year-old son injured, and he remains under treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad.

A video of the incident showed JAC members forcibly entering the actor’s property, damaging flower pots and other items in the compound. Notably, Allu Arjun was not at home during the attack.
Hours before the incident, the actor appealed to his fans to avoid abusive behavior and addressed allegations of misconduct in the stampede case. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy claimed Allu Arjun visited the theatre despite being denied police permission—a claim the actor has denied.
Speaking at a press conference on December 21, Allu Arjun said, “There is a lot of misinformation and false allegations, especially character assassination. It’s humiliating.”
The Hyderabad Police previously arrested Allu Arjun for his alleged role in the stampede but granted him interim bail for four weeks on the same day. A case has been registered against the actor, his security team, and the theatre management under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
