Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, back from a five-nation outreach initiative for India’s Operation Sindoor regarding Pakistan, has once again lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a public display of appreciation. In a piece for The Hindu, Tharoor referred to PM Modi as a key asset for India because of his “energy, dynamism, and willingness”.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s energy, dynamism and willingness to engage remains a prime asset for India on the global stage, but deserve greater backing,” Shashi Tharoor remarked in the column.

‘Op Sindoor highlighted India’s solidarity on global stage’

Tharoor additionally mentioned that through the outreach, he discovered that the strength of unity, the effectiveness of transparent communication, the strategic importance of soft power, and the necessity of continuous public diplomacy would steer India in navigating an ever more complex global landscape.

Shashi Tharoor headed a multi-party delegation to key global capitals to emphasize India’s position against Pakistan-backed terrorism and its unwavering stance on combating terrorism.

The group, headed by Tharoor, featured Shambhavi Chaudhary (LJP), Sarfaraz Ahmed (JKM), GM Harish Balayagi (TDP), Shashank Mani Tripathi, Tejaswi Surya, Bhubaneswar K Lata (all from BJP), Mallikarjun Devda (Shiv Sena), and Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the Former Indian Ambassador to the US.

The seasoned Congress leader, whose participation in the Operation Sindoor initiative led to a heated verbal clash between Congress and BJP, stated that the main objective of the effort was to offer insight on the matter. Tharoor has been under pressure from his party since he lauded the Modi government for the operation.

Tharoor further stated that the diplomatic engagement after ‘Operation Sindoor’ represented a time of national determination and efficient dialogue and It confirmed that when India stands united, it can express its views clearly and confidently on global stages.

Tharoor added that a significant point he made is that India prioritizes its growth and development, viewing terrorism and war as unnecessary distractions and what we want from Pakistan is to be ‘left alone’.

Shashi Tharoor has often expressed support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ targeting terror networks in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
