Unexplained drone sightings across northeastern US states have prompted decisive action from US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Schumer is pushing for the deployment of Robin Radar Systems, an advanced drone-detection technology, to equip local law enforcement with the tools needed to solve this mystery.
In a recent announcement, Schumer emphasized the need for answers: “I’m pushing for answers amid these drone sightings. I’m calling for Secretary Mayorkas to deploy special drone-detection tech across NY and NJ. And I’m working to pass a bill in the Senate to give local law enforcement more tools for drone detection.” – Chuck Schumer (@schumer.senate.gov) December 15, 2024.
Okay the anti Drone system that Schumer wants passed into law is the Robin radar systems. Owned by the deep state military contractors. They also want to put a high energy laser on a drone and let it be used in the U.S. link to entire video below https://t.co/lxJGUyWPaR pic.twitter.com/rK5fU7cR1H

Schumer’s request follows a series of incidents, including the temporary closure of New York Stewart International Airport due to drone activity. He has specifically requested the Department of Homeland Security to deploy Robin Radar Systems, a Netherlands-based company known for its cutting-edge drone detection technology.
Robin Radar’s 360-Degree Advantage
Robin Radar boasts a “360-degree technology” designed to precisely track drones over a vast area, significantly surpassing traditional linear radar systems. Siete Hamminga, CEO of Robin Radar Systems, explained the system’s capabilities to CBS News:
“The capability provides situational awareness—mapping flight paths and identifying where drones are coming from or where they land,” Hamminga told the news outlet. He further highlighted the growing importance of drone detection systems like Robin’s for securing airports, nuclear power plants, and borders.
Challenges: Lack of Oversight and Drone Registration
Schumer also pointed out significant hurdles in combating these drone intrusions. Currently, only federal agencies possess the legal authority to monitor and detect drones, and there’s no national drone registration system. This lack of oversight makes it difficult to determine the origins or purpose of many drones.
“Some are erratic, some are flying in groups. It can overwhelm traditional radar systems, which is why the new technology is crucial,” Schumer added.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul echoed the urgency for federal support following a recent drone sighting near New York Stewart Airport. While acknowledging the assistance, Hochul tweeted:
“In response to my calls for additional resources, our federal partners are sending a drone detection system to New York. I am grateful for the support, but we need more. Congress must pass a law that will give us the power to deal directly with the drones.”
Public Concerns and Ongoing Investigations
Residents in the northeastern United States have been reporting unexplained drone activity for weeks, fueling anxieties about potential foreign involvement or government cover-ups. These mysterious sightings have sparked heightened scrutiny and public debate.
Residents say they have spotted unidentified drones flying over New Jersey recently, prompting concerns among elected officials. Sen. Schumer said Robin Radar Systems will help provide answers to questions about the aircraft.https://t.co/eUPf8ooZHS pic.twitter.com/5tQvkArSA1

In response, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Defense (DOD), FBI, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a joint statement. The agencies emphasized that their investigations have found no evidence of a national security or public safety threat from the reported drone activity.
The statement explained that the sightings likely stem from a mix of benign causes, including lawful commercial drones, hobbyist drones, law enforcement activities, and manned aircraft. Additionally, some reports may be due to misidentified objects like stars.
Despite these reassurances, the drone activity continues to spark unease among residents. Authorities have promised to remain vigilant as investigations proceed to shed light on the nature of these mysterious aerial movements.
