A Catholic school teacher in Delaware, United States, has been detained for allegedly sending sexually explicit photos to a 14-year-old former student via Snapchat, according to a New York Post story.
Alanis Pinion used to interact with students through Snapchat
Police said Alanis Pinion, a 24-year-old 8th-grade teacher at St Mary Magdalen School in Wilmington, used Snapchat to interact with her students. One day, she allegedly emailed indecent photographs to one of her students, who informed his parents.

She was detained on July 18 by the New Castle County Police and the school was informed about it.
Pinion charged with sexual solicitation of minor under age of 18
Pinion faces charges of sexual solicitation of a minor under the age of 18, endangering a child’s welfare, and indecent exposure.
A court eventually granted bail to the 24-year-old. However, she failed to pay the $46,000 bail bond and was held at the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution.

More victims expected to come forward
Police believe there may be more victims who have not yet come forward.
According to Reverend James T Kirk of Saint Mary Magdalen Parish, Pinion worked part-time at the school and was subjected to a background check before being hired. Pinion’s one-year contract ended on June 30.
A teacher was arrested in Louisiana in May for reportedly exchanging nude images, purchasing booze for pupils, and having a sexual contact with at least one of them, according to the New York Post.
