“He is doing well and should be able to walk out of the hospital in a couple of days,” a doctor informed the media. The doctor also shared that Saif Ali Khan walked into the hospital without the assistance of a stretcher, showing remarkable resilience.
The doctors confirmed that Saif’s condition had improved, and he had been moved from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to a special room. Dr. Nitin Dange said, “Saif Ali Khan is doing very well, and his vital signs have improved. He will be discharged in two to three days, depending on his recovery.” He added that the actor needed rest, especially due to the knife wounds to his back, which carry a risk of infection.

Dr. Niraj Uttamani, who attended to Saif upon his arrival at the hospital, praised his strength, stating, “He walked in like a lion, even though he had blood all over him. He is a real hero. His condition has improved, and we are ensuring he gets proper rest.”
Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police have recovered a piece of the blade that was used in the attack. A suspect has been detained in connection with the incident. Authorities believe that the suspect took a local train toward Vasai Virar after the attack. Police teams are actively searching areas like Vasai, Nalasopara, and Virar.
Maharashtra Minister of State for Home Affairs Yogesh Kadam confirmed that the attack was not carried out by any underworld gang. He added that the motive behind the attack was theft, and there has been no indication from Saif Ali Khan about any prior threats. While Khan has not requested extra security, the minister assured that due procedures would be followed if he does. The police are continuing their investigation to identify and apprehend those responsible.
