The purpose of RCB’s unbox event was to interact with their fan base, which is their 12th man army. The Bangalore-based team used the occasion to unveil new jerseys, introduce players and important personnel, and induct Hall of Famers.
Faf Du Plessis was named captain of the Bengaluru Royals during their unbox event on Church Street in 2022, following their launch.
