On Monday, Punjab Police searched a number of places connected to the Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh Landa and his friends. This extensive crackdown on pro-Khalistani elements was conducted at 48 places in Firozpur and the surrounding districts.
Earlier, an extortion incident involving Landa and his gang members was reported in the Jeera area in Firozpur, where two masked men opened fire on the shopkeeper.
Recently, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) announced cash rewards for information leading to the arrest of Landa, Harwinder Singh Sandhu alias Rinda, and three other operatives of the banned Khalistani outfit Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).
A cash reward of Rs 10 lakh each was announced for Landa and Rinda, and Rs 5 lakh each for others like Parminder Singh Kaira alias Pattu, Satnam Singh alias Satbir Singh alias Satta, and Yadvinder Singh alias Yadda.
