On Tuesday, Giani Malkit Singh, the head granthi of Akal Takht Sahib, stated that individuals who tarnish religions through vulgar behavior must bear the repercussions, in reference to the recent murder of well-known YouTuber Kanchan Kumari.
The 27-year-old influencer, recognized as Kamal Kaur or ‘Queen’, was discovered deceased in a parked car on a medical college campus in Bathinda on the morning of June 11.
“The Guru has consistently advised against vulgarity and such songs, irrespective of their faith – Hindu, Sikh, or Muslim. However, there are certain individuals who engage in this activity. Nothing inappropriate has occurred (since) those who alter their names and attempt to disgrace the Sikh community must be stopped,” Singh informed reporters in Punjabi.
The head granthi also encouraged the youth to refrain from listening to such indecent material, noting that comparable incidents have occurred previously as well.

A Ludhiana resident, Kumari boasted over 3.83 lakh followers on Instagram and was recognized for her daring and frequently contentious social media content. She gained fame for sharing videos featuring explicit language and had participated in several online controversies.
Her body was discovered, extensively decomposed, inside a stationary car at the Adesh Medical University campus after residents reported a terrible odor emanating from the vehicle. A preliminary investigation suggests that the crime might not have taken place at the university, and there are suspicions that the influencer was murdered in a different location.
She may have been strangled and then placed in the car, which was subsequently left in the university parking lot. The vehicle’s license plate was discovered to be fraudulent.
Authorities have been examining potential connections to a previous threat that Kumari received in October of the previous year from Canada-based designated terrorist Arsh Dalla. He allegedly cautioned the influencer not to upload “inappropriate” videos on the internet.
