RML National Law University student found dead in her hostel room
Anika Rastogi, a 19-year-old law student, was discovered dead in her hostel room at the Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University located in Lucknow’s Ashiyana area. Anika, in her third year of studying LLB, is the daughter of IPS officer Santosh Rastogi, who is currently holding the position of Inspector General at the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Delhi.
Officials reported that Anika was discovered unresponsive in her dormitory room late last night. Immediately after being rushed to a nearby hospital, she was pronounced dead upon arrival by doctors.

Reason of her death is still unknown
The reason for her death is still unknown, and an investigation has been started by the Ashiyana Police.
Based on early reports, Anika went to her room last night and did not answer any calls or knocks for the rest of the night. Worried about her quietness, her friends forced open the door to her room and discovered her unconscious on the floor. The authorities verified that the room was locked internally and found no suspicious objects.
