On Sunday afternoon, a massive fire broke out at a chemical godown in the Alipur neighborhood of North Delhi.
There have been no casualties associated with the incident as of now.
At least 20 fire tenders were dispatched to put out the fire as soon as the Delhi Fire Department received a report of it at 3:10 pm, according to department officials.
According to the officials, the fire also caused the godown’s roof and walls to fall. The specific cause of the fire is yet unknown.
On June 15, a large fire occurred in a coaching facility in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar neighborhood, causing the pupils to jump out of the windows. The Delhi Police later filed a FIR in connection with the incident, which found that the institute lacked proper fire security precautions.
