The warning came from Iran’s powerful military force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which accused Netanyahu of war crimes and vowed continued retaliation.

March 15, 2026: Iran on Sunday escalated its rhetoric against Israel, vowing to “pursue and kill” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as hostilities between the two countries entered their 16th day.
In a statement, Iran’s elite military force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, warned that it would continue targeting Netanyahu “with full force” if he remained alive. The threat came as Iran carried on its strikes against Israel and speculation swirled online about the Israeli leader’s whereabouts.
“If this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force,” the Revolutionary Guards said.
Questions about Netanyahu’s location intensified after a video released on March 12 triggered online debate. Social media users claimed the footage appeared to show the prime minister with six fingers on one hand, prompting speculation that the video may have been altered using artificial intelligence.
@grok Explain
The latest video released by the government itself shows that it was AI generated because Netanyahu has 6 fingers.
The question now is whether Netanyahu is just hiding, has been killed, or is seriously injured. pic.twitter.com/rLQKJ0kvQE

In the clip, Netanyahu was addressing his first news conference since the United States and Israel launched airstrikes on Iran on February 28. During the briefing, he defended Israel’s military operations and issued a veiled threat against Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.
“I will not detail the actions we are taking. We are creating the optimal conditions for toppling the regime,” Netanyahu said in Hebrew, adding that any such change in Iran would ultimately have to come from within the country.
The speculation online was amplified by conservative commentator Candace Owens, who questioned Netanyahu’s public absence.
“Where’s Bibi?” she wrote on X, referring to the Israeli leader by his nickname. “Why is his office releasing and deleting fake AI videos from him and why is there mass panic at the White House?”
Amid the rumours circulating on social media, Netanyahu’s office dismissed claims that he had been killed.
“These are fake news; the Prime Minister is fine,” his office told Anadolu Agency when asked about online allegations that Netanyahu had been assassinated.
However, Netanyahu’s office and senior aides have so far not issued a detailed public statement addressing the claims.
