This morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to check on Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s health, who was admitted last night due to issues of discomfort and chest pain. He also wished for the Vice President’s quick recovery.
“Went to AIIMS and enquired about the health of Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji. I pray for his good health and speedy recovery,” said PM Modi in a post on X.
Union Health Minister JP Nadda also visited AIIMS earlier today to check on Dhankhar’s condition.

Dhankhar was taken to AIIMS at approximately 2 am. He was taken to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under the supervision of Rajiv Narang, the Head of the Cardiology Department, according to news agency PTI. He is now in stable condition, it reported, referencing sources.
The 73-year-old leader is still being monitored by a team of doctors.
