Helicopter Crashes En Route to Kedarnath; Six Onboard

A helicopter en route from Dehradun to Kedarnath has crashed in the rugged stretch between Trijuginarayan and Gaurikund, with six people on board, Uttarakhand police confirmed.

A helicopter flying from Dehradun to Kedarnath crashed between Trijuginarayan and Gaurikund, Uttarakhand, Uttarakhand police confirmed early Sunday. Dr. V. Murugeshan, Additional Director General (Law & Order), stated that six people were on board when the aircraft went down .

Details remain scarce, but rescue teams, including the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and local police, have been deployed in the challenging terrain. Recovery and search operations continue amid difficult weather and mountainous conditions, with officials working to locate survivors and assess the helicopter’s condition
