Police in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, have apprehended a 50-year-old Geography professor who is accused of sexually exploiting his students. It is alleged that he recorded these acts of crime and used the 59 videos to intimidate them into silence, as well as compel them to provide additional sexual favors.
Rajnish Kumar, the Chief Proctor at Seth Phool Chand Bagla PG College in Hathras, has been evading capture since the accusations surfaced earlier this week, along with disturbing videos of students being sexually assaulted that were shared with the police on a USB flash drive.
Police sources informed NDTV that Kumar asserted he was unaware of the number of women he had victimized.
He mentioned that he started documenting his assaults only a few years back – following a web camera that unintentionally captured a student being assaulted – suggesting that several more women could have been victimized.

Sources indicated that he had taken bribes from students and their parents to award them higher test scores and help them secure jobs, which he also exploited to demand sexual favors.
Kumar told the police that in 2009 he had a sexual relationship (allegedly consensual) with a student. And, at one point, while they were intimate, the webcam on a computer captured them.
He asserted that it provided him with the ‘idea’ – to film women during assaults and extort them.
