Newly-elected President of the United States Donald Trump congratulated First Lady Melania Trump on their 20th anniversary by sharing a nostalgic photo from their wedding.
“Happy 20th Anniversary to Melania,” read the caption of the post shared by Trump.
In another post, a photo of Trump and Melania was also shared from the X account @POTUS.
“Celebrating 20 years with my beautiful wife and our incredible First Lady, Melania. You’re an extraordinary wife and a wonderful mother. Happy Anniversary, @FLOTUS,” read the caption of the post.

Trump and Melania Knauss, who first met each other at a party in 1998, tied the knot in 2005 during a ceremony at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-By-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida. A total of 350 guests were invited to their wedding, which was succeeded by an extravagant reception at his estate in Mar-a-Lago.
For her nuptials, Melania was graceful in a $100,000 Christian Dior dress that included a 13-foot train and a 16-foot veil embellished with crystal beads. According to Fox News, which references articles from The Palm Beach Post and The Palm Beach Daily News at that time, her wedding outfit needed over 500 hours of hand sewing to create.
Reports indicate that the Donald J. Trump ballroom at Mar-a-Lago was adorned with 10,000 flowers for their reception. A total of 500 attendees relished caviar and Cristal champagne.
