JD(S) chief and former PM HD Deve Gowda arrived in Ayodhya to attend the Ram temple’s grand opening. Speaking to news agency ANI, Deve Gowda said, “The event that is going to take place in Ayodhya today is a historic one… I must also express my sincere thanks to the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan who is also among the several VVIP guests invited to attend Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya arrived in the holy city.
Actor Manoj Joshi who was also present, got emotional while attending the Pran Pratishtha at Ram temple in Ayodhya. “What reaction can one have after seeing God? I have no words to express how I feel,” said Joshi. He was accompanied by poet Kumar Vishwas, who said, “It is a moment of great fortune. People waited for 550 years for this moment…This is a festival of joy…”
The much-anticipated Ram Mandir consecration, or pran pratishtha, ceremony will be held in the temple town of Ayodhya today. Tens of thousands of devotees along with a galaxy of prominent figures will be attending the inauguration.
