Devraj Patel, comedian and YouTuber known for the famous “dil se bura lagta hai bhai” meme, passed away in a car accident in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

“Devraj Patel, who made his place among crores of people with “Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai,” who made us all laugh, left us today,” tweeted Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in his grief.

“दिल से बुरा लगता है” से करोड़ों लोगों के बीच अपनी जगह बनाने वाले, हम सबको हंसाने वाले देवराज पटेल आज हमारे बीच से चले गए.

इस बाल उम्र में अद्भुत प्रतिभा की क्षति बहुत दुखदायी है.

“The loss of amazing talent at this young age is very sad. May God give strength to his family and loved ones to bear this loss. Om Shanti,” he added in his tweet which also featured a video of Devraj.

Devraj was riding with his companion close to Labhandih in Raipur when a speeding truck struck his bike from behind. According to the police, Devraj’s friend was driving the motorbike. The comedian passed away instantly, and his friend was seriously hurt.

Devraj had over 4 lakh subscribers on his YouTube channel. On Instagram, he had over 57k followers. His last post on Instagram was a video that he posted today.

He also worked with Bhuvan Bam in his web series Dhindora. His dialogue “Dil se bura lagta hai bhai” garnered attention in the web series as well.
