In the film, Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaji, a celebrated warrior-king. His previous films, Sam Bahadur, Sardar Udham and Uri portray him as a perfect fit for the role.
As the film starts strong in Maharashtra, it performs decently in the rest of the cities. Amidst the hype, Chhava is set to become the biggest opening for Bollywood in 2025 so far.
