Mohammed Javed, allegedly involved in the heartless murder of two children in Budaun, has been apprehended by locals in Bareilly. Javed, in his surrender to the Bareilly police, has squarely blamed his accomplice and brother, Sajid, for the murders of Ayush and Ahan.

The gruesome incident dubbed the “Budaun Double Murder,” has stirred widespread outrage. The two accused, named Javed and Sajid, were on the run after the double murder. Uttar Pradesh Police killed Sajid Sheikh in an encounter while Javed was absconding for the last two days.

‘Maine Kuch Nahi Kiya’, says Sajid’s Brother Mohammed Javed

The incident, which has sent ripples of horror through the community, has seen Javed pleading repeatedly in a video for the police to take him into custody. Javed’s video confession, wherein he distanced himself from the heinous crime, reveals his desperate attempts to evade accountability, shifting the blame entirely onto his brother, Sajid. He asserts that he played no part in the tragic events and pins the responsibility solely on Sajid.

Moreover, Javed, in his video plea, hints at a prior association with the victims’ family, suggesting that they shared an amicable relationship. This revelation adds another layer of complexity to the already disturbing case.

Bareilly in locals caught Mohammed Javed while he was allegedly going to the Police Station to surrender. Upon being caught, he said:

”Public ke dar se mai Delhi bhaag gaya, Delhi se surrender karne mai Bareilly aaya hu. Wo kaand (double murder) mere bade bhai (Sajid) ne kiya. Mera koi haath nahi hai. Jis Ghar me murder hua hai wahan hamare bahot acche rishte the.”

The emergence of Javed’s video confession comes just two days after the chilling murders of the two innocent children and the subsequent encounter of Sajid by the authorities. Before his surrender, Budaun police had been tirelessly searching for Javed, who had managed to evade capture until now.

With Javed now in custody, the investigation into the Budaun Double Murder is expected to intensify.
