BREAKING! Terrorist gunned down in encounter in Baramulla

Vigilant troops noted suspicious activity, and when confronted, terrorists unleashed gunfire indiscriminately. Following this, the forces struck back, resulting in the death of one terrorist.

Vigilant troops noted suspicious activity, and when confronted, terrorists unleashed gunfire indiscriminately. Following this, the forces struck back, resulting in the death of one terrorist.

According to the Kashmir Zone Police, the operation commenced after security forces obtained information about the presence of terrorists. Speaking to X, Kashmir Zone Police stated, “Based on specific intelligence about the existence of terrorists in the Rampora Sopore region of Baramulla, a coordinated anti-terror operation was initiated by the Police and security personnel.” While conducting the search operation, gunfire was exchanged.

Two terrorists gunned down in Sopore

Earlier on October 8, two militants were eliminated in Sopore during a combined operation by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police. The army reported that the operation commenced on Thursday (November 7) following the observation of suspicious activities by terrorists.

MoreOver, the military stated that when confronted, terrorists fired indiscriminately, noting that the operation is ongoing. Compromising evidence, weapons, and munitions were also seized from the terrorists.

 

Detailing the operation, Chinar Corps stated, “On 07 Nov 24, following specific intelligence concerning the presence of terrorists, a coordinated operation was initiated by the Indian Army and Jammu-Kashmir Police in Panipura, Sopore, #Baramulla. Alert troops spotted suspicious activity, and when confronted, the terrorists began firing wildly. Their forces successfully struck back. “Operation is currently underway.”
