Bullets targeting Bhim Army head Chandra Shekhar Aazad were shot at on Wednesday when an armed convoy he was riding in was ambushed in Uttar Pradesh. However, the bullets brushed past him.
According to the most recent reports, the leader of the Ambedkarite and Dalit rights organisations was checked into a hospital in Saharanpur.

According to senior superintendent of police Vipin Tada, armed individuals riding in cars fired shots at Aazad’s caravan. He claimed that a bullet had just barely missed him, adding that the police were looking into the incident.
From his hospital bed Azad said his people had identified the assailants. “Their car went towards Saharanpur. We took a U-turn. Five of us, including my younger brother, were in the car when the attack took place,” he added.
