The Telangana government sent a notice to both singer Diljit Dosanjh and the event planners of his Dil-Luminati concert set to take place on November 15, 2024, in Hyderabad. The notice requires Dosanjh to refrain from singing any songs that support alcohol, drugs, or violence due to previous occasions where such songs were included in his performances.
This directive is based on a report from Panditrao Dharenavar of Chandigarh, who submitted video evidence of Dosanjh’s performances of explicit songs at previous events, such as the recent Dil-Luminati shows at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi and Jaipur. He has also sung those songs at various global performances.
Supporters of the Punjabi actor-singer are eagerly awaiting the almost packed Hyderabad concert. Diljit Dosanjh kicked off his Dil-Luminati tour in New Delhi on October 26, visiting a total of 11 cities.
Hyderabad is the third stop in his Dil-Luminati tour.

However, the most recent notice issued to the vocalist may discourage the excitement of the music enthusiasts.
The Welfare Department of Women, Children, Disabled, and Senior Citizens in Ranga Reddy district issued the order after receiving a request from Dharenavar.
The directive also clearly indicated that the event coordinators and the performer should not involve children on stage during the live performance.
The announcement banned the participation of kids in performances, in accordance with the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations on noise levels.
