Kia India has made a significant leadership change by appointing Atul Sood as the new Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, with immediate effect. Sood will directly report to Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer at Kia India, and will lead the brand’s national sales strategy while advancing operational excellence throughout its rapidly expanding market.
Atul will lead the company’s Sales and Marketing services and utilise his vast experience for growth.
With almost three decades of experience in the automotive field, Atul Sood comes to Kia India from Toyota Mobility Solutions and Services India (TMSS), where he held the position of President and Director.

Renowned for his extensive knowledge in pan-India business development, dealer network enhancement, and customer-centric innovations, Sood is anticipated to significantly strengthen Kia’s market presence and lead the brand into its next stage of strategic growth.
Sood had earlier contributed immensely to the Toyota Group
Before his time at TMSS, Sood held vital leadership roles at Toyota Kirloskar Motors and Toyota Motor Asia Pacific, making substantial contributions to the brand’s regional results and customer engagement.
He possesses a PGDM in Marketing from Symbiosis Centre for Management and HRD (SCMHRD) in Pune, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
