The government informed the Opposition about Operation Sindoor executed by the Indian military to retaliate against the Pahalgam terror attack, stating that approximately 100 terrorists were neutralized in the targeted strikes, and India will not retreat if Pakistan does any misadventure.

‘Operation Sindoor On, Cannot reveals details’

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who led the meeting, stated that Operation Sindoor “is currently ongoing” and thus the specifics cannot be revealed at this time.

“In Operation Sindoor, targeted attacks were executed on 9 terrorist locations. Around 100 militants were eliminated. Confirmed information is still pending, and the counting process continues,” sources quoted the government as having informed the all-party meeting.

The government convened an all-party meeting today to brief them on the events of the past 36 hours. Multiple Opposition leaders, such as Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, attended the meeting. Representatives from the government included Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Dr S Jaishankar, Nirmala Sitharaman, and various other ministers.

The Opposition leaders posed several questions; however, the government was reluctant to provide too many details.

During the meeting, Rajnath informed the parties that no particular information can be revealed due to it being an “evolving situation.”

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
