Air India Express has enhanced air travel in Karnataka by introducing a daily non-stop flight between Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) and Delhi International Airport. The new service is anticipated to offer travelers improved convenience and flexibility.

As per an official announcement from MIA, the first flight, IX 1552, departed Mangaluru at 6:40 AM and arrived in Delhi at 9:35 AM on February 1.

At the same time, flight IX 2768 took off from Delhi at 6:40 AM and landed in Mangaluru at 9:35 AM.

As part of a ceremonial act, the inaugural flight was greeted with a water cannon salute from the Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team at Mangaluru International Airport.

The first trip transported 167 passengers to Delhi, and 144 passengers journeyed to Mangaluru from the national capital.

An official from Mangaluru Airport emphasized the advantages of the new service, saying, “This flight will serve both business and leisure travelers while enhancing transit choices for those connecting to various domestic and international locations.” Enhancing air connectivity continues to be our main focus to meet the increasing travel needs of the region.”

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
