Days after Sunil Pal claimed he was kidnapped, Stree 2 actor Mushtaq Khan shared he was kidnapped. The actor was invited to an event in Meerut, where he was allegedly kidnapped. Reportedly, the actor was paid an advance amount to attend the event, as well as provided with flight tickets.
The actor’s business partner, Shivam Yadav shared the alleged kidnappers tortured the actor for 12 hours and demanded a crore ransom. They eventually took Rs. 2 lakh from the actor and his son’s account. Mushtaq ran away after he heard the morning azaan, believing a mosque would be close by.
Shivam told the media, “Mushtaq sir and his family were completely shaken over what happened with him. However, he was always sure that he would file an FIR after he composed himself. Yesterday, I went to Bijnor and filed an official FIR. We have proof of the flight ticket, the bank accounts and even CCTV footage near the airport. He also recognises the neigbhourhood, even the house where he was kept. I think the police team will surely get the culprits soon.”

A few days ago, a similar incident was shared by comedian Sunil Pal. The actor-comedian was reportedly invited to Haridwar to attend an event, where he was kidnapped and was asked for a ransom of Rs 20 lakh.
He told Times of India that he didn’t suspect a thing as they had transferred him an advance payment for his performance and even sent a car to pick him up from the Delhi airport. However, after reaching Meerut, a group of men allegedly transferred him to another vehicle, where they scared him with a poison-filled injection.
The kidnappers reportedly made him transfer Rs. 7.5 lakh after negotiations and even gave Rs 20,000 to the actor to book a flight back to Mumbai. “They promised to pay the ransom once they found jobs”, said the comedian. An FIR was filed at the Santacruz Police station after the actor safely returned to Mumbai. Apart from Sunil Pal, and Mushtaq Khan, actor Rajesh Puri too had shared a similar incident in September, claiming he escaped the situation.
In an interview with Free Press Journal, the actor shared he was paid Rs 35,000 in advance and was sent flight tickets to attend an event in Meerut. However, he never received a formal invite. After reaching Delhi, they transferred him into a different car.
“They then started heading toward Meerut, and when I asked why, they gave vague responses. That’s when I realised something is wrong. I mentioned my strong connections in Delhi to make them uncomfortable. They took me to eat at a dhaba when we were 12 kms away from Meerut.”
