The comedy project has gotten into legal hot water as Bollywood actors Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar are preoccupied with the Ajmer filming of their upcoming movie, Jolly LLB 3. Ajmer court has received a complaint from the film’s crew, claiming that it denigrates the legal system.
Complaint Filed Against Jolly LLB Franchise for Allegedly Disparaging Indian Judiciary System
As per a report, the President of the Ajmer District Bar Association, Chandrabhan Singh Rathod, has filed a complaint against the film’s makers. He alleges that the franchise disparages the Indian judiciary system, thereby damaging its reputation.
According to reports, Chandrabhan lodged a complaint against the director, producer, and actors for making fun of judges and attorneys. According to Chandrabhan’s complaint, the movie depicts judges and attorneys in a “inappropriate” and “humorous and indecent” manner.
The first and second sections of Jolly LLB have been taken into consideration in making this decision. It appears that the actors, directors, and filmmakers have no regard whatsoever for the honor and stature of the nation’s judiciary as established by the Constitution. Over the course of several days, Jolly LLB 3 is being filmed in the nearby villages and areas, as well as at the Ajmer DRM office. The report quoted Chandrabhan as saying, “Even during the filming of this picture, the actors in it do not seem to be at all serious about the image, prestige, and dignity of the judiciary, including the judges.”

Ajmer District Bar Association Petitions Court to Halt Filming of Jolly LLB 3
The judge eating “gutkha,” kicking attorneys, chasing them with sticks, and engaging in financial transactions, he continued, are scenes that neither represent the reality of the legal system nor uphold the dignity of the judiciary.
Indeed, the Ajmer District Bar Association has petitioned the court of Civil Judge Ajmer North to halt Jolly LLB 3’s filming. They’ve asked the judge to send out a notice. The case will be heard today (Tuesday), according to the report.
With Subhash Kapoor directing the film, Akshay and Arshad are playing the same lawyers. On April 29, they began filming in Ajmer for the movie. When they started filming the movie, they also posted a humorous video.
Sharing the video, Akshay wrote, “Ab original kaun aur duplicate kaun, yeh toh pata nahi. But this sure is going to be a jolly good ride !! Stay with us. Jai Mahakaal.”
The first Jolly LLB movie came out in 2013, and the second one came out in 2017. With Saurabh Shukla playing a judge once more, it’s expected that Akshay and Arshad will be at odds in the third episode.
