A blast at a chemical plant in Telangana’s Sangareddy district’s Pashamylaram Industrial Area resulted in the deaths of 10 employees and left many others seriously injured. The incident took place at the Sigachi Chemicals plant in Patancheru, where a reactor allegedly blew up during standard procedures.
The explosion caused a large fire inside the factory grounds, leading emergency response teams to hurry to the location. Initial reports indicate that the blast happened suddenly, leaving workers surprised.
Officials have verified that a minimum of ten individuals lost their lives in the event. Rescue teams retrieved several bodies from the rubble, and officials are concerned the death toll may increase as the operation proceeds.

The footage depicts dense smoke rising from the factory, with a rescue effort in progress and firefighters active on the scene attempting to extinguish the blaze. The explosion propelled workers up to 100 meters away, ensnaring numerous individuals in nearby tents as flames continued to burn.
The reports indicated that the explosion was powerful enough to damage the factory’s framework and severely affected the location. A total of 108 personnel from various ambulances were present at the scene, according to IANS reports.

Workers from Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and various other states worked at the industrial facility. The explosion and resulting fire caused panic among workers in the chemical unit and nearby factories, leading them to evacuate the area, reports indicated.
Reports indicated that the rescue teams utilized earthmovers to remove the wreckage of the fallen building due to fears that some workers could be trapped beneath.
