Gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, whose alliance had been experiencing tension for a while, have now officially ‘split’, sources informed media, recognizing that this will complicate efforts for police and intelligence agencies to dismantle their criminal operations.
Sources indicated that the details were obtained from questioning Bishnoi and Brar’s associates. Bishnoi is presently held in Sabarmati Jail in Ahmedabad, whereas Goldie Brar is still at large; he relocated to the United States in 2017, has not come back, and currently operates his gang from there.
Sources indicate that Brar has partnered with Rohit Godara, based in Azerbaijan, while Bishnoi has collaborated with Noni Rana, also referred to as Surya Pratap, who is active in Canada.
Senior officials from the Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi police departments have convened with their peers from the National Investigation Agency to comprehend the effects of the ‘break up’.
Sources reported that the rift between Bishnoi and Brar started when Anmol Bishnoi, the former’s brother, was arrested in California in November of last year. Anmol was detained for unlawfully entering the US.
