Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Saifullah Kasuri, who is believed to be the architect of the lethal Pahalgam terror strike, made a public appearance on Wednesday, sharing a platform with Pakistani political figures and other wanted militants during a political event.
Terrorist Talha Saeed also present at the rally
The event, organized by the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) to observe Youm-e-Takbeer, Pakistan’s yearly remembrance of its nuclear tests, included provocative speeches and anti-India chants. Present among the attendees was Talha Saeed, the son of LeT founder Hafiz Saeed, who has been designated a terrorist by India.
‘Now I am famous in the entire world’
“I was blamed as being the architect behind the Pahalgam terror attack, now I am famous in the entire world,” Kasuri said at the rally in Kasoor in Punjab province.
It is thought that he orchestrated the vicious attack on the beautiful Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam, where members of The Resistance Front, a proxy for the Pakistan-based LeT, shot and killed 26 individuals, primarily Hindu men.
Speaking to the audience, Kasuri—also referred to as Khalid—revealed intentions to establish a center, roadway, and hospital in Allahabad under the name “Mudassir Shaheed.”

As per Intelligence sources, Mudassir Ahmad was among the prominent terrorist operatives killed in India’s counterstrike Operation Sindoor after the Pahalgam massacre.
The rally featured Talha Saeed, who is 32nd on India’s most wanted terrorist list, giving an impassioned speech rich with jihadist slogans and “Naara-e-Takbeer.”
Saeed, who failed to win a Parliament seat from Lahore’s NA-122 constituency in Pakistan’s 2024 general elections, has maintained his public affiliation with the PMML, which is commonly seen as a political front for the banned LeT.
