Renowned actor and model Poonam Panday died on Friday due to cervical cancer, according to a statement shared by her manager on her official Instagram page.
The offical statement on Instagram read, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”
Her manager disclosed to Zoom that the actor passed away from cervical cancer. Over her career, Poonam Pandey has been a part of a number of controversies. Even though she took an active role in a number of movies, she was just as active on social media, where she often posted information for her followers.
Additionally, she made headlines when she participated in the reality show ‘Lock Upp,’ hosted by none other than Kangana Ranaut. During her stint on the show, Poonam didn’t shy away from controversy. On one occasion, she pledged to go topless if her fans saved her from eviction.
