Dhanashree Verma hopes for peace and happiness while she goes through divorce processes with Yuzvendra Chahal. On Wednesday, the festival of Maha Shivratri, Dhanashree resorted to Instagram stories and uploaded a photo of Lord Shiva. Dhanashree stated in the caption of her image, “May Lord Shiva shower his blessings on you with happiness, prosperity and success.”

Dhanashree’s post comes days after it was revealed that the pair, who married in 2020, had concluded their divorce. However, the former’s lawyer recently confirmed that the processes are still ongoing. “I have no comments to make about the proceedings; the case is now pending. “The media should fact-check before reporting because a lot of misleading information is being circulated,” the lawyer stated.

Later, ABP News reported that during the court hearing, Dhanashree and Yuzvendra admitted that they had been living separately for 18 months. When probed about the likely reason for their divorce, the pair stated that they had ‘compatibility issues’.

Meanwhile, some sources stated that the choreographer was seeking Rs 60 crore in alimony from the batsman. However, Dhanashree’s relatives recently denied the allegations. A member of the Verma family published a statement on Friday, calling alimony reports “baseless”.

The family member was disappointed by the widespread claims and advised everyone not to propagate “baseless” information. The member clarified that Dhanashree Verma never requested any alimony from Chahal.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
