The BJP is anticipated to regain power in Delhi, as two additional exit polls suggest a solid win against the governing AAP. Both Today’s Chanakya and CNX exit polls, on Thursday, forecasted that the BJP will triumph in the recently concluded Assembly elections in the national capital by a significant margin.

If these forecasts come true, it would be a major blow for AAP and its leader, Arvind Kejriwal, who stepped down as Chief Minister last year due to corruption allegations.

Nonetheless, previous elections have demonstrated that exit polls frequently miss the mark, and the figures forecasted by the pollsters should be regarded with skepticism.

As per information from Today’s Chanakya, the BJP-led coalition is expected to gain 51 seats, significantly ahead of AAP, which is anticipated to obtain merely 19 seats. A party must secure 36 seats to establish the government in Delhi.

Today’s Chanakya Exit Poll

Data from Today’s Chanakya indicates that the BJP-led coalition is expected to obtain 51 seats, significantly ahead of AAP, which is predicted to achieve just 19 seats. A political party requires 36 seats to establish the government in Delhi.

The current Chanakya poll reveals a significant lead for BJP+ with a seat range of 51 (plus minus 6), whereas AAP’s estimates suggest they are facing challenges with a seat range of 19 (plus minus 6). The remaining seats, classified as “others,” are anticipated to have minimal impact, with a forecast of 0 (plus or minus 3) seats.

CNX Exit Poll

The CNX Exit Poll indicates that the BJP is anticipated to win between 49 and 61 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections, whereas the AAP is likely to secure between 10 and 19 seats.

The Congress is anticipated to obtain 0 to 1 seat, and other parties are expected to gain no seats.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
